Foxdale

According to the discussion we had before going to the Foxdale saying that the elder people choose to go there by them selves, I was curious to ask them about that. I did not believe until I saw how they live. I met this man " Oliver". He was about having his lunch so he offered me something to eat or to drink. Then, he asked me about me name and I am from. He was exited when he knew that I am from Saudi Arabia. He said " Alsalam alikum? Kaif Halak?" I was shocked !! He told me that he was diplomatic and he lived in Syria, Yemen, Iran among other countries and he visited Saudi Arabia !! We discussed couple of issues about my country and my society. He is a smart man. He asked my email so he can send me more information about his life. I asked him to take a picture. He agreed and the picture was taken. Unfortunately, the picture was not saved in my iPhone !! I don't know why !!
I came out form Foxdale with "sad" feeling! It is a sad when you know that is your last place before you die! and most the people around you are old too! So you may not find your neighbor next morning!! I know it sounds dark! but they have chosen moving here for a reason that I will never know !! until maybe when I become at that age !!

My advice for the IECP students is to take some gifts for these people so they can remember this visit. Imagine that you are talking to your grandfather .. so be patient !!
