Body Language part III

I was wondering how body language is recognized ? Shouldn't be different from one to another?
I have found that some gestures are inborn; which mean they are known to the babies once they are
delivered. Smiling ,for example, is inborn gesture because it has been observed on deaf blind babies.
Another example is shaking head to say "No". babies are learning that when they get enough milk from their mothers' breasts.
There are some universal gestures. For example, most men put on a coat right arm first while most women put it on left arm first. That shows which part of the brain both of them are using. Another example, shoulder shrug which shows submission greeting is a universal gesture, too.

Can the body language be faked??

The answer will be given next time ..

What surprises me about what I have read is how the woman's brain work! Now, I understand why she loves talking because she observes tiny details, so she wants to speak about them. On the other hand, man's brain seems having limited perceptive abilities compare to woman's. That is why men are easily to be discovered when they are lying.!!

P.S. Warning for all men, be honest. Other wise you are in a big trouble !!

The Definitive Book of Body Language .. 1

I have started reading this book "The Definitive Book of Body Language". At the
beginning, the author starts by saying " All Things Are Not What They Seem". He tells a
story about how he became a successful salesman in early age by knowing the body language skills. As a matter of fact, he applied those skills since he was a child while he was selling rubber sponges after school. He was able tell wither someone was likely to buy or not. For example, if someone told him to go away but his hands were open showing the palms, he would  know it was safe to continue presenting his products because that was a sign for that the person was not aggressive.

Spoken language uses the body language to express certain situations. For example, "Get it off your chest", "Keep your chin up", " Face up to it", etc.

In addition, there is a quote that I liked and it is really important in relationships especially between best friends or a husband and a wife which is " It's how you looked when you said it, not what you actually said."
